About my Cyanotype Solar Process:
Every sheet is individually hand coated in my studio using a traditional cyanotype process. I use heavyweight, acid-free papers that remain stable during rinsing, helping produce crisp prints without warping. Both the solar paper and bookmarks can also be enhanced with watercolours once dry, allowing you to continue developing your finished artwork.
How Cyanotype Works:
1. Arrange leaves, flowers, or found objects on sensitised paper
2. Place under direct sunlight (or a UV lamp) for 1–15 minutes, or until the sensitised paper has turned a consistent mucky blue all over.
3. Rinse under water to reveal your beautiful Prussian blue prints.
4. Dry and display!
Tip: A UV nail lamp can work well for indoor exposures!
